Workshops offered in 6 week increments

(Including some double sessions)

 

$300.00 for 6-week workshop in one discipline   
(20% off if paid in cash, discounts for multiple classes)

 

Classes will begin the week of January 23rd to be held in the Village of East Hampton, Monday through Thursday evenings

 

CLASSES OFFERED AND SCHEDULE WILL BE DETERMINED BY INTEREST AND AVAILABILTY

 

All classes are limited to  ages 16 and up by invitation and referral only

 DANCE
 

Ballet Technique – Learn the basics of technique and how to apply it to other forms of dance.

 

Musical Theatre (Jazz) - Quickly pick up choreography, execute and perform musical theatre’s most popular choreography

 

Fosse- Learn the technical styling of the renowned choreographer, Bob Fosse. Most famous for Chicago, Cabaret and Sweet Charity.   

 

Beginner Tap- Teachings of the basics in tap and how to combine steps together to create one musical event.

 

Advanced Tap- This class will concentrate on the newest tap steps and create new ones. Listening skills will be honed in by using the “Jacobson Center Technique”, also know as “Street Tap”. No only tapping in unison, but creating different rhythms layered upon each other.  

 ACTING
 

Acting- All levels invited. Students, depending on experience, will work on monologues, multi-actor scenes, listening/ reacting, developing action, character history and how to apply it all into one cohesive unite.

 

Sketch Comedy- Learn the art of comedy by starting out with improvisation, monologues and pop culture study. The class will develop into a sketch comedy group where students will write their own scripts and perform in front of a live audience. This workshop is two sessions of 6 weeks.

 DIRECTING
 

Directing- Learn the fundamentals of directing a one act of your choice to be performed in front of a live audience.  This workshop is two sessions of 6 weeks.  Intermediate to advanced acting students only.

 VOCALS
 

Group Intensive- The technique of vocal training is very specific and best learned in a group atmosphere. Students will work together on connecting body to voice, diaphragm work, solos, duets, ensemble pieces, music theory, projection and performance.

 

Private Lessons- Are available upon request.
